Juan Cruz Castello er et nyt ansigt i dansk hockey. Han er dommer, kommer fra Argentina, og har planer om at blive i Danmark i nogle år.
Han har allerede dømt kampe i den danske herreliga, men vi har stillet ham et par spørgsmål for at kunne give en bedre præsentation for hockey-Danmark.
I hvor mange år har du været dommer … og hvor?
Jeg har været dommer i 5 år, mest i mit hjemlands divisioner, startende fra laveste niveau og op til 2. og 1. division i Argentina. Jeg har også dømt en kamp mellem Menorca og Mallorca i Spanien.
Hvad kan du fortælle os om dig selv som person?
Jeg er 26 år gammel, bor med min kone i København (Islev) og er interesseret i fodbold. Jeg glæder mig til også at lære det danske sprog.
Hvad er dit første indtryk af dansk hockey?
Jeg oplever at folk, der er involveret i dansk hockey, optræder meget respektfuldt overfor hinanden. Både spillere og dommere, og både under og efter kampen. Det er meget vigtigt for mig som dommer, da det gøre hele oplevelsen af hver kamp mere behagelig.

Juan Cruz Castello is a new face in Danish Hockey. He is an umpire coming from Argentina, and he is planning to stay in Denmark at least for some years.
He has already some Danish Men’s league matches on his CV, but to give him a better presentation to Danish hockey environment we have asked him some questions.
For how many years have you been umpiring … and where?
I’ve been umpiring for 5 years, mainly in all of my home country’s divisions, starting from the lowest level up to the second and 1st division (Argentina). I have also umpired at the 1st match between Menorca and Mallorca in Spain.
Could you provide us with some personal facts?
I’m 26 years old, live with my wife in Copenhagen and have personal interests also around football.
I live in Copenhagen (Islev) and I can’t wait to study also the danish language!
What is your first impression of Danish Hockey?
I see that the people involved around Danish hockey are very respectful towards each others, both the players and the umpires, during and outside of the game. This is very important for me as an umpire, because then the whole experience of each game is more pleasant.
